Catface and I have been with each other for almost 11 years. He was found on the perimeter highway in Winnipeg and he didn't belong to anyone. Since I had recently moved out into West Broadway with the greatest roommate, we took him in. The things I have been through with this cat!! WOW! So it was sorta like ending what was. And it was sad. And hard. But it was a very peaceful home death. The vet came here, and there was no stress for Catface. The vet reassured me that I was doing the right thing. And I handled it better then I thought I would. I miss that little turd so much already. But I am so glad he is not suffering anymore.
This photo was taken about 6 weeks ago. It was just as he started really going downhill.
He loved this sink. He slept in it a lot!
Catface was a very confident cat. He always expected to get what he wanted, when he wanted.
He carried this to me one morning at 7am while I was laying in bed. I grabbed the wine glass on the bedside table and trapped the adorable little creature that shouldn't have been in my house. I set him free. But thanks to Catface, we never had a mouse problem.
Catface with Oggy, I started craving a baby. So, we got Catface a brother.
We spent time travelling, so friends or cousins would move in for the couple of months we were away at a time.
He was a pretty chill cat.
Except for the times he was being a prima donna!
We even drove and moved to a different province with him three times and he was always a trooper.
He had such a beautiful face. His eyeliner was so gorgeous. He suited his name SO well.
Rest in peace buddy!
xo.
