One of the greatest gifts you can give a parent or a grandparent, is a photoshoot. Portraits really are the gift that keeps on giving because photos are such cherished items that get hung on the wall and placed in photo books for people to look at and reflect back on. So for this Grandma's birthday we hangout for a couple hours and snapped a bunch of pictures around the home and then headed to their local park. It was such a beautiful sunny spring day creating such a pretty scene for us. We got so many sweet pictures!
Sophie's One
Most kids don't like to sit still and pose or say cheese. Heck, I don't even like it! Photoshoots don't have to be tiring and unnatural. That's why my photoshoots are child led. Forcing children to do something at a time when you want to capture a picture of them doesn't usually work out very well no matter how much you bribe them.
Take a look at Sophie. She was SUPER fun! She was so cheeky too (my favourite)!! I just followed her around as she did her thing and truly captured her in such a genuine way. You don't have to know Sophie to know something about her because her personality really shines in these images. Her toddler days are just around the corner! She's gonna make one awesome toddler!
